New Life Worship Center is an outstanding example of the New Testament principle of "Lay Ministry." There is one full time Senior Pastor on paid staff.
The rest of the leadership, responsible for leading various ministries, are volunteers from our church body.
All of the major ministries of the church are led by lay people. This is the model of the New Testament church that scripture describes in Ephesians 4:13. Scriptures teaches us that one of the major roles of the Pastor/Shepherd/Teacher/Administrator is to "prepare or equip God's people for works of ministry or service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."
It is a major part of the Vision of New Life Worship Center, to equip people for ministry in God's work. This has been one of the outstanding principles of New Life Worship Center. We are amazed and grateful to all the volunteers who cheerfully serve the Lord and our community!
While growth will eventually necessitate additional Pastoral Staff in the future, this strategic principle in God's Word will continue to be a major part of the vision of New Life Worship Center!
